There are a handful of people I know who genuinely appreciate the real me.

Most people find it hard to take me seriously. I have issues with showing how I really feel. I unconsciously conceal whatever emotion I am feeling. When I’m deeply affected with something, it doesn’t show. And I have my special concealing abilities to thank for that.

I got so tired of wanting people to understand me until I realized what I really wanted – to understand myself. This resulted to barely anyone getting me these days.

They say people who talk a lot are shallow. I say that’s partly true for me. But I only have this life to live. I like sharing my thoughts with the world. No matter how silly or strong my thoughts and opinions are. I don’t want my family and friends to ever wonder : “What was she thinking before she died?”. Last moments. Last thoughts. Those things matter to me.

I am only a morning person if I wake up in a cottage by the beach. Fridays in Boracay to be exact.

I treasure the weirdest things.
Empty ice cream boxes, soda bottles….
If there is someone in the entire universe who was born to be “overly sentimental”…well, you’re kinda “lookin’” at her now.

I wish I were born tan and had super long lashes and wavy hair. Then I wouldn’t really care if people said I look like crap. Cos I will always feel sexiest given that I have these. But then I am thankful for what God has given me.

As a kid I loved weird films. I loved HACKERS at 8 and would watch The Book of the Dead non-stop during Holy Week. It has now resulted to my love for all the indie/experimental/art films,and my weird taste of “films that rock” - tell me, how many of you cried at the ending of Brokeback Mountain?

I like the feeling of being needed. BADLY. I think its romantic when someone admits that to me.

When I was 10, I wanted to paint my room black.

The words “letting go” does not exist in my vocabulary.

I wish I had the power to time travel. Not to change things – but to experience them again.

To say that I love Topshop is an understatement.

I am stubborn and I don't want to do anything about it. For now at least.

I still believe in old school hopeless romantics. Those are the best.

97% of the time, I mean what I say. Otherwise, I wouldn’t say it. I wasn’t really raised that way.

I like that people think I’m stupid. I like being underestimated even if it REALLY gets on my nerves.

My Mom will always be the greatest woman to me (next is my Mama Fel).. My Hero. My Partner-in-Crime. My bestfriend. My Mom is my everything, she means the world to me (yes, no matter how much we want to strangle each other most of the time).

Trash talk only when it is called for. They’re like demerits. Use them wisely, if you must.

I believe that I was loved just once – in 21 years.

I like sleeping in the nook.

To be organized, for me, comes with season. To say that “organized” is a trait that I possess would be 1.) A LIE 2.) TOTALLY WRONG.

I like it when things don’t match. Its not about blending anymore. Its about complimenting each other.

I may go sideways, turn a little, go straight, slightly crooked…slow, fast. I can run, I can walk. I can briskwalk, I can jog. I can stop, I can rest, I can put up a tent and enjoy a bonfire. But no matter what it takes, I will get there. Because I have God beside me.

I am currently back on track with asking God the directions to which road I should REALLY be on...He knows I am in the Forbidden Forest right now. Lol.
